WHY GETTING A LETTER STATING YOU’RE PRE-APPROVED IS IMPORTANT

K - Welcome to WHO’S WHO IN THE 902.  I’m Kelly Williams from Keller Williams Select Realty and today on Mortgage Minute with Bruce Lusby of Premiere Mortgages he is going to tell us how to get a letter stating that you’re pre approved, why it should be included with your offer and what it means to the seller by doing so.  Good morning Bruce.

B - Good morning Kelly.  As part of the pre-approval process when I go through and meet with clients, get their application, get all their documentation, review their credit, make sure it’s satisfactory to get them pre-approved.  Once they’re pre-approved I’ll send the Realtor, I’ll send you, a letter of financial pre-approval and that’s important because a lot of sellers want to have a letter of pre-approval included in the offer package and even if they don’t require it, it’s good to have that letter of pre-approval in the package so that the seller is confident in your offer.  They know that you’re ready to buy
